BAN president lamented that businesses not only contribute to the nation’s economy but creates employment opportunities but most of our people celebrate Government job receivers but hardly celebrate job creators. This is the right moment to change that mindset and celebrate job providers in the state like Mr Pamie who has set up his second outlet in Dimapur within a span of one year.
BAN president highlighted that all commodities in the State is higher than other states due to illegal collections by various agencies, organizations and individuals and therefore the decision of the Government to dismantle check gates by putting in place various mechanism to curb the illegal collection is a very proactive decision. He lauded the Government for its magnanimous actions towards building business friendly economy while fighting the price rise. He further stated that the onus is now in the hands of the transporters who should take immediate steps and reduce the transport cost to ease the price rise and till such time, BAN will work rigorously to bring the transport cost at par with other parts of the North East.
