The president of the Business Association of Nagas (BAN) L Mongkum Jamir has been appointed as member of the High-Powered Monitoring Committee (HPMC) of the National Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Hub (NSSH) scheme under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India as per office memorandum No. K-02/4/2021-SME, Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi, dated 5th August 2022.
The High-Powered Monitoring Committee of NSSH Scheme is chaired by the Hon’ble Minister (MSME) and co-Chaired by Minister(s) of State (MSME). The Committee will monitor the overall activities of the NSSH Scheme and will have the power to decide any new activities/functions for the Hub.
NSSH is aimed at capacity enhancement of SC/ST entrepreneurs and promoting “entrepreneurship culture” amongst the SC / ST population.
